B Introduction: b Routine daily labs (RDL) are commonly ordered for patients admitted to intensive care units for monitoring purposes. CBC utilization underwent the greatest reduction (1040 to 838 per 1000 patient days), followed by BMP (1009 to 874 per 1000 patient days) and ABG (151 to 137 per 1000 patient days). The most ordered labs in our NSICU, including complete blood count (CBC), basic metabolic panel (BMP), and arterial blood gas (ABG), were targeted for reduction. [Extracted from the article]
