Abstract
Reactions of acetoacetanilide with aromatic aldehydes in ethanol at room temperature in the presence of molecular iodine and arylamine afford to 6-aryl-2-methyl-4-oxo- N, N'-diphenyl-2-cyclohexene-1,3-dicarboxamides.
