Abstract
The article presents a study on the different models of integrating nephelometers and a comparison of the Aurora 3000 to a commercial instrument TSI model 3563 that applies an incandescent lamp. The study offers parameterizations for the angular sensitivity functions and characterization of the new light source design of Aurora 3000. Mie-theory was also used in the study. Results show that both instruments has good calibration and detection limit for total scattering with 5% less differences.
