Abstract
The article discusses globalization and aspects of public health, including occupational and environmental dimensions, from a global perspective with a special focus on Swedish conditions. The author points out some aspects of how globalization influences public health, particularly, health at work, changing lifestyles, sustainable development, and health systems.
