Abstract
The article presents a population-based study of second malignancies among patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Topics discussed include increased incidence of lymphoid neoplasms observed in negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), use of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program (SEER) in the study and leukemic transformation to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) occurred in 230 patients of total patients under the study.
