Abstract
The article focuses on how Germany's anti-nuclear movement has successfully influenced public opinion against nuclear energy and generated a political party that took its concerns to the top of the republic. It mentions that nearly 120,000 protesters took part in the movement. It informs that Fukushima nuclear accident which occurred in Japan in 2011 has impacted the decision of Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel's administration, to abandon the atom once and for all.
