The article describes the case of a 46-year-old female patient with multiple sclerosis and a history of gait ataxia, dysarthria and cerebellar lesion, and who was diagnosed with progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). The diagnosis was confirmed after performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), immunological test, and laboratory test. The patient was prescribed with intramuscular interferon beta-1a and mirtazapine, figrastim and intravenous immunoglobulins.
