Abstract
The article discusses the concept of terrestrial amplification (TA), which refers to the phenomenon of land warming more than oceans, occurs due to thermodynamic differences between humid air over the ocean and drier air over land. It aims to understand the mechanisms underlying TA and evaluate its predictions through an extended theory to the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). It also mentions that paleotemperature proxies provide crucial support for TA and refine the range of future low-latitude.
