Abstract
The article presents a study that analyzed the synthesis of fluorinated monomers and polymers and the possibility of using them for integrated optics and photonics. It studied the optical properties of the synthesized fluorinated monomers in the telecom wavelength. It fabricated multimode polymer waveguides on a silicon substrate by UV photolithography.
