The article explores the organic structure of 1,3,5-Tris(bromomethyl)benzene. A lone molecule builds the asymmetric unit of the compound. Two bromo substituents are positioned on one side of the plane of the aromatic ring and the third is situated on the opposite side, with the molecular unit showing an approximate noncrystallographic Cs point group. The crystal structure has weak intermolecular contacts, which have a mediating effect on the crystal packing of individual molecules.
