Abstract
The article reports on 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, a political rally for human rights, and "I Have a Dream" speech by an American clergyman Martin Luther King Jr., which were celebrated in 2013. It mentions the development of several associations and conferences on Black Catholics. It discusses the Pastoral Plan of Action developed by the U.S. Congress in July 2012 to address issues related to black Catholics including liturgy, evangelization and marriage.
