Abstract
The article describes the case of a 43-year-old alcoholic man with oropharyngeal histoplasmosis. The patient showed hypernasal speech with a body mass index of 16.7. A previous in-clinic biopsy by the referring otolaryngologist showed squamous atypia and inflammatory infiltrate. He reported improvement of symptoms upon follow-up after two weeks.
