Abstract
The article focuses on the degrading human values by treating humans as things, referring to the mass killing at the mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand. Topics discussed include shared humanity of life-givers, appreciating the courage of Muslim communities to continue with their faith and humanity in the face of hatred along with the sympathy expressed by Prime Minister Jacinta Ardern, and hope of finding an enduring place of peace and community.
