Abstract
Investigates the effects of chronic stimulant treatment on cerebral glucose metabolism in adults diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Use of positron emission tomography with [18F]fluorodeoxyglucose before and after treatment with either methylphenidate or d-amphetamine; Ratings for ability to maintain attention.
