Abstract
The article discusses the Plasmid-Mediated Quinolone Resistance(PMQR) genes and fluoroquinolones in the treatment and disease susceptibility of non-typhoidal salmonella which is the main cause of food borne diseases. Topics include the PMQR genes, human clinical cases in Canada and disease susceptibility.
