Abstract
The authors convey their thoughts about an analysis of reflector-guided localization using SAVI SCOUT in non-palpable breast carcinoma compared to traditional wire localization. Highlights include the use of analysis of variance and Student's t test for statistical analysis of continuous data, the use of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to confirm normal distribution of the data, and association of reduction in positive margin rates with a statistically significant reduction in the volume excised.
