Abstract
The article discusses the study that aims to highlight the heterogeneity of the reference and definition of chronic wounds in clinical studies. Topics mentioned include the classifying of the studies based on etiology groups such as arterial insufficiency ulcers (AIU), venous ulcers (VU), pressure ulcers (PU), and diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), the need for a comprehensive definition to enhance and strengthen the patient care, and the suggestion to introduce a scoring system.
