Abstract
The article discusses the arrival of Paleo-Indians that colonized South America towards the end of the Pleistocene period and surveys by archaeologists like Kurt Rademaker and Christopher Miller. Topics include disputes concerning Monte Verde, Chile, Cuncaicha rock shelter excavation, excavation of stone tools at Quebrada Santa Julia,Chile, and migration of people along the coast. A map representing Ice Age occupation sites in South America is included.
