Abstract
The article discusses a study that identified the impact of weather conditions on the incidence of dog bites. The study used data from a previous dataset that identifies demographic factors in pediatric dog bites in patients referred to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Dog bites were treated as a binary variable for statistical analysis. Dog bites were linked with warmer temperature and took place more frequently on days with rainfall.
