Abstract
The article discusses the pandemic and epidemic potential of global genomic surveillance for 2022-2032. Topics covered include the strategy's aims to improve tools access, strengthen the workforce, improve data sharing, maximize connectivity, and maintain readiness, and the need for multisectoral partnerships to realize these. Also note is the World Health Organization's (WHO) lead in the strategy and its implementation with Member States and partners.
