Abstract
The article reflects on the histamine as an immune modulator in chronic inflammatory responses. He said that histamine can selectively recruit the major effector cells into tissue sites and affect their maturation, activation, polarization and other functions leading to lung diseases. He also added that histamine regulates monocytes and dendritic cells.
