Abstract
This article, titled "Superior Ethmoidal Approach to an Olfactory Groove Meningioma: A Novel Approach That Maximizes Preservation of Nasal Anatomy," discusses a new surgical technique for removing olfactory groove meningiomas (OGMs) that aims to preserve nasal anatomy and maintain physiological nasal airflow. The traditional endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) for OGM removal can result in anosmia and the removal of healthy nasal structures, leading to nonphysiological nasal airflow and nasal crusting. The superior ethmoidal approach presented in this study preserves the middle turbinates and the middle ostiomeatal complex, resulting in more natural nasal airflow. The authors of the article are A.
