Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of the Management Board (MB) meeting of the Croatian Cardiac Society (CCS) held at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb, Croatia on March 1, 2011. During the meeting, Bergman Markovic discussed the initiation of the program of primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases in the family doctor's office. The initiative have been monitored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare until 2009.
