Abstract
The article discusses several studies on gestation. The occurrence of maternal serum dyslipidemia early in pregnancy in women with mild but not severe preeclampsia was studied by A. Baker and colleagues, published in the "American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology." In the same journal, S. Uccella and colleagues published a study on first-trimester maternal serum screening and the risk for fetal distress. M. K. Van Dyke and colleagues published a study on universal antenatal screening for Group B streptococcus in "New England Journal of Medicine."
