Abstract
Elucidates on glia-synapse interaction through Ca[sup 2+]-permeable alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA)-type glutamate receptors (AMPAR) in Bergman glia. Conversion of Ca[sup 2+]-permeable AMPAR into Ca[sup 2+]-impermeable receptors; Bergman glia and glutamatergic synapse; Adenoviral-mediated delivery of the GluR2 gene.
