Abstract
The article discusses a review on the use of electrophysiological criteria for cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) conduction block validation for ablation of typical atrial flutter (AFL). It states that completes bidirectional CTI block across the line of ablation was first discovered during pacing of coronary sinus (CS) ostium/low lateral right atria (LLRA) with 20-pole Halo-catheter. It also mentions the demonstration of bidirectional RA depolarization wavefronts with collision in the RA free wall or interatrial septum during pacing.
