Abstract
The article presents information on the British HIV Association's guidelines for the management of coinfection with HIV-1 and hepatitis B or C virus. The 2010 guidelines have been updated to incorporate all new relevant information. One of the major changes included is increased discussion on hepatitis screening and prevention.
