Abstract
The article reports on illicit tobacco trade control (ITTC) in nine countries and the European Union as of May 29, 2015. Topics discussed include the evaluation of common approaches like licensing, product markers, and national record-keeping by such countries as Brazil and Canada, and the European Union, these countries' varying approaches, and the World Health Organization (WHO) ITTC protocol. Also noted are the report's limitations on countries included and on implementation records.
