Abstract
The article discusses about human herpes virus 6 and multiple sclerosis, association of chronic progressive neurological disease and ubiquitous viral agents. It mentions the immunological and molecular data support an association between multiple sclerosis and human herpes virus 6. Virus activity can also be correlated to worsening of disease course and to the site of inflammation.
