Abstract
The article discusses the BRAF oncogenic expression in melanocytes that induce in vivo Schwannian differentiation. Topics covered include the ability of melanocytes to exhibit high level of phenotypic plasticity. Also mentioned is the prevalent mutation in BRAF found in the melanoma cells of transgenic mice.
