Abstract
Professor Tak Hong Lee CBE, MD, ScD, FRCP, FRCPath, FMedSci, FKC, or "Tak" as he is generally known, was born in Hong Kong, graduated with first class Honours in Medical Sciences from Clare College, Cambridge University (United Kingdom, UK) in 1972 then completed his clinical training at Guy's Hospital Medical School in London, UK. Tak was a bench-to-bedside, translational clinical scientist in asthma and allergy. Airway responsiveness to histamine and leukotriene E4 in subjects with aspirin induced asthma.
