Abstract
The article presents an analysis on the survival case of cancer of the uterine cervix in England and Wales up to 2001. It notes on the survival trends from cervical cancer in both countries which started in 1970s where a year relative survival of 75%, five year survival over 50% until 1980s and a trend that lowers to two percent of the year interval was recorded until in 1990s. It cites on the implication of improvements to the cervical screening program that started in the late 1980s.
