Abstract
The author reflects on the study by P. N. Valeras and colleagues which compares the management and outcome of patients with status epilepticus (SE), who are admitted to neurological intensive care unit (NICU) or medical intensive care unit (MICU). The authors mention that the difference of NICU and MICU in terms of hospital stay, mortality, or outcome at discharge were not found by the researchers. They add that the superiority was not demonstrated by the team.
