Abstract
The article presents a study on the role of muscle fatigue or soft tissue creep in the spine to the reflex activation of the back muscles. The study collected data on intervention results of 15 volunteers who undergo one hour sitting flexed to induce creep and Biering-Sorensen test to induce muscle fatigue. The results indicate that spinal creep increased in maximum flexion and fatigue falls in median frequency. The study concludes that soft tissue creep delayed the activation of back muscles.
