Abstract
The article discusses the rediscovery of a medieval well used by religious pilgrims devoted to Saint (St.) Anne (known as St. Anne's Well) in Merseyside, England, including the dimensions of the well, the local sandstone in its design and the ownership dispute over the well in the 16th century.
