Abstract
We report the first structure determination of a covatent photo-adduct between a Ru∥-tap complex and a tryptophan-containing peptide (AIaTrpAIa) by mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy. Ru∥-tap complexes could thus be exploited as photodamaging agents at Trp-containing polypeptides or proteins. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
