B Presenter: b Patrick Starlinger MD | Mayo Clinic, Rochester B Background: b A proposed panel of mechanistic biomarkers of liver injury has been developed and investigated for utility in drug-induced liver injury. We have investigated the response of this mechanistic biomarker panel in LR, before investigating its potential to predict and report postoperative liver dysfunction (LD) and patient outcomes. Preoperative assessment of ccK18 could exhibit important value in allowing preoperative assessment of patient risk of poor postoperative outcome, allowing opportunity for optimisation of surgical and care strategies.
