Abstract
The article highlights tropical cyclone (TC) activity in the Atlantic Basin in 2013. Topics discussed include the number of named storms produced during the Atlantic hurricane season, the seasonal accumulated cyclone energy (ACE) value, and the frequency of hurricanes that originate as named storms within the main development region (MDR).
