Abstract
The article discusses the educational needs of English Learners (ELs) and highlights the importance of supporting their early literacy development and biliteracy skills. It emphasizes that biliteracy is an achievable goal, especially for ELs with dyslexia, and provides instructional strategies, including phonemic awareness, phonics, and vocabulary instruction, to enhance language and literacy skills across languages.
