Abstract
The article deals with a study which investigated the neonatal outcomes associated with induction of labor in intrauterine growth retardation. The study included pregnant women who were randomized to undergo either labor induction within 48 hours of randomization or expectant monitoring with daily fetal movement counts. Study authors found that fetal and maternal outcomes are the same after induction of labor and expectant management with monitoring.
