Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 25-year-old male, suffering from severe cardiomyopathy who was treated with total cardiac replacement with Dual Heartmate-II® Axial Flow Pumps (DHAFP). He was previously admitted for dialysis access surgery, during which he suddenly developed cardiogenic shock with cardiac arrest during the operative procedure. The article further discusses the responses of cardiac replacement with DHAFP.
