Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to search the database of MD Anderson Cancer Center and Massachusetts General Hospital from 2000-2011 with institutional review board approval to test if International Prognostic Scoring System-Revised (IPSS-R) is applicable to therapy-related myelodysplastic syndromes (t-MDS) and oligoblastic therapy-related acute myeloid leukemia (t-AML) patients. The assessment of patient outcomes by overall survival (OS) and disease-specific survival (DSS) is tackled.
