Examines the possible mechanism of action of ramiprilat in guinea-pig isolated heart. Use of superoxide anion for triggering free radical injury in cardiac tissue; Reduction of left ventricular developed pressure; Increase of lactate dehydrogenase leakage and thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances.
