Abstract
In this work, we report the synthesis of two new Yb(III)-based coordination polymers [Yb(Btca)(Idc)(H2O)]n (1, HBtca = 1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole-5-carboxylic acid and H3Idc = 1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid) and [Yb2(Thz)3·8H2O)]·H2O (2, H2Thz = thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole-2,5-dicarboxylic acid) prepared under the solvothermal conditions using two heterodonor organic ligands. The two complexes are fully determined via single crystal X-ray diffraction along with the elemental analysis. Furthermore, the synergy effect of compounds 1 and 2 with seventy-flavor pearl pills on the cerebral ischemic events is evaluated in vivo. Firstly, the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is performed to measure the content of dopamine and 5-serotonin in the brain after treatment with compounds 1 and 2. Then, the reactive oxygen species (ROS) detection is conducted to determine the inhibitory effect of the compounds on the inflammatory level in the brain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
