Abstract
The article discusses a study about the occurrence of and factors associated with canine vector-born diseases (CVBD) for leishmaniosis in Germany. Topics mentioned include the causes of CVBD, the extraction of DNA for molecular diagnosis of Babesia spp. and Ehrlichia canis, the examination of IgG antibodies against Babesia spp., and the link between origin/travelling of dogs and the presence of Leishmania infantum antibodies.
