Abstract
Determines whether or not a metal ion would bind with the phosphoryl oxygen at the cleavage site of a hammerhead ribozyme with the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Extent of the perturbations of NMR signals from phosphorothioates; Absence of any change in NMR signals at the cleavage site upon the addition of excess metal ions.
