Abstract
The article presents a study that investigates the flavonoid components of acetone extracts from genus Ballota. Sixteen Ballota species were collected in different locations of Turkey. Voucher specimens were deposited at the Herbarium of Ankara University. Air dried and powdered samples of the sixteen Ballota species were extracted with acetone at room temperature for 3 days. The residue was extracted and were washed with water and dried. Chromatography was performed on an automated gradient controller and a photo-diode array detector.
