Abstract
Here, we introduce a mouse model of sepsis-related AF caused by CLP and mediated by altered atrial electrophysiology associated with dysregulated expression of conduction-related genes and atrial inflammation. KN-93 treatment significantly reduced AF inducibility in CLP-treated mice, suggesting that CaMKII activation is necessary for sepsis-related atrial arrhythmogenesis (]).
