Abstract
The article discusses that breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy among women. It mentions that women diagnosed with non-metastatic oestrogen receptor (ER) breast cancer typically receive adjuvant therapy with tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors; and also mentions that breast carcinomas with increased expression of HSD17B1 compared with HSD17B2 have increased intratumoral concentrations of oestradiol.
