Abstract
The article describes the case of post-progression prolongation of survival after cessation of pembrolizumab in a 57-year-old White female smoker with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer. Highlights include resection of a solitary cerebral metastasis, the possibility that immunotherapy alters tumour biology, and the ability of vaccines after immunotherapy to potentiate a sustained response.
